Michael Corenzwit: Founder and Principal

Michael Corenzwit´s real estate roots began in 1973 when, as a recent college graduate, he traveled from his home in Philadelphia to Los Angeles to try to make his mark as an artist. While in L.A., he accepted a job with a family friend, managing a small apartment building in order to make ends meet. Within one year, Michael was managing nearly 2,000 units of multifamily residential real estate, and while his artistic career was put on hold, his real estate career had been officially launched.

Today, Michael Corenzwit brings his vision and contrarian approach to real estate investing to the full-service real estate firm that bears his name. The organization has been active in the Philadelphia real estate scene since 1975, opportunistically acquiring and renovating commercial, residential, industrial, and retail properties throughout the region.

Michael is the primary driver behind Corvest Realty Group Inc.´s growth, culture, and entrepreneurial environment, and he also oversees and manages the company´s diverse real estate operations, including asset management, investment, leasing, and facility and property management.

A longtime native of the Philadelphia region, Michael holds a bachelor´s degree in economics from Philadelphia University. He resides in Willistown Township in Chester County, PA, and has four grown children. Michael is a former member of the Board of Directors at White Manor Country Club and of the Board of Trustees for the Friends Central School in Wynnewood, PA.

Asher Hyman: Broker

Asher has over 20 years experience in investment real estate as broker, advisor and investor. In Corvest Realty´s brokerage and advisory business, Asher represents private, institutional and corporate investors in acquisitions and dispositions nationwide. His investment sale experience in industrial, office, retail and multi-family properties has resulted in over $4 billion in sales in no less than forty states nationwide.

Asher has worked with some of the country´s largest real estate companies, including companies such as Liberty Property Trust, Keystone Property Trust, Lexington Property Trust, and American Financial Realty Trust. Many other significant private clients are represented, as well. An example of his work includes production in 2004-2006 in excess of $650 million in investment brokerage transactions on over 10,000,000 square feet of space. Tenants in buildings sold include New Jersey Natural Gas, Bakers Hughes, Federal-Mogul, Royal Ahold Corporation, Builders First Source, Invensys Systems, K-Mart Stores, Nestle Foods, Dana Corporation, Exel Logistics, Ball Corporation, Transmission Technologies Corporation, Casella Waste Management, Missa Bay Foods, the State of Maine and others.
